Good presentation! I think previous generations, mine (GenX) included, just thought we would keep working at the same job, gradually making more money. Gen Z wants more money partly too because nothing is assured.
I loved it when you showed how every generation thinks the younger ones don't want to work. I often wonder what's behind it. There's a jealousy of youth or opportunity. When we see people standing up for work-life balance, our first response is often to tell them they have to suffer like we did. They don't and shouldn't. No one should have to answer work emails/Slacks at all hours. I hope they build a better work environment than we did.
You are correct. Based on my presentation, I agree with them. But it is mostly a story of the growth of income inequality and not unrealistic expectations.

Thanks for watching! It is turns out it is commong that people thing previous generations are weak and the ones after them are lost.
That 94% feels really high but also help explains the rising youth unemployment rate
I thought so too. It is a data point from a survey of managers. The survey might have been biased.
Gen Z needing 500k to feel secure is reasonable and indicates they’re the only generation who knows what’s up
