The people and institutions who make this possible.
Decode Econ is free to read, watch, and use in class. That's possible because partners invest in clear, useful economics for students and the public. You can be one of them.
Thank you to the partner who helped us get started.
Founding partners believed in Decode Econ before there was much to show. Their support built the foundation everything else stands on.

Haile College of Business, Northern Kentucky University
The Haile College of Business gave Decode Econ a home. The college provides space, administrative support, and the time to develop the articles, podcast, and resources you find here. That support is also what makes the Decode Econ Newsroom possible, where students learn to collect data, do research, and explain economics to real audiences.

Organizations working with us to make economics useful.
Our partners share a goal with us: helping students and the public see how economics shows up in real decisions.

The Econ Games
The Econ Games is an applied economics competition that started at Northern Kentucky University in 2017. Teams of students take on a real problem, work through the data under a deadline, and present what they find. It now brings together dozens of universities and hundreds of students.
Decode Econ and The Econ Games share the same belief: students learn economics best by using it, and by explaining it to someone else.
There's a place for you at the table.
Support from partners keeps Decode Econ free and gives students paid, hands-on experience in the Newsroom. Here's how you can help.
Become an institutional partner
Join Haile in supporting the work. Partners are recognized on this page, and we'll work with you on resources your students and faculty can use.
Fund the Newsroom
Sponsor student research assistants for a semester or a year. Your support pays students to learn data, research, writing, and communication on real deadlines.
Partner on a program or series
Co-create a series, a set of classroom resources, or an event around a topic your audience cares about.
Support us as an individual
Read, share, and bring our posts into your classroom. Following us and telling a friend helps more than you'd think.
